The Heir - Human Wizard - Character Art Commission

The one thing I love the most about doing commission work is that every other drawing I make feels like a new personal best.
Working for others just gives me that drive to go the extra mile and to do the best I can.

This was also the case for the eleventh (!) character that I have now designed for Li Faung. Aurelius Romulus Leo, a Wizard and son of the noble Leo family.

I decided to use one of my favourite techniques again, extreme lighting. It allows me to make the drawing that much more dramatic and three-dimensional.
It's also very time consuming. Since I pretty much bulldozed through the shading in one session, I know how long it took me. About six hours.
I should really start using a stopwatch to figure out the exact time it takes me to finish a drawing.
