The Lion - Human Fighter - Character Art Commission

Here's my latest character design, an eldritch knight for Aestetic.
Although his design looks rather simple, finishing the details on the weathered clothing actually took me a while.

For the sword, I had to ask uncle Google for advice. What is a Greatsword supposed to be? What's the point in making something bigger than a Longsword?
A few of the designs I found had this additional grip below the guard. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have any practical use, but it looks pretty cool.
